Summer Fun! Spanish Fork, Carnival!

Okay so this weekend was really one of the first weekends that Jim and I had off together where we weren't working or boating and able to do something just as a family! It was so much FUN!! Of course I took a ton of pictures. Well after we both relaxed at home and took our time getting ready for the day. We went to pick up my car, where Jim left it at a job site. Then we headed to the car wash. Yes my car was so DIRTY!! After the car wash we went and got sandwich's and yogurt. One of our favorite frozen treats. Then Jim found a game shop, and we looked at board games. We called Brittany and head to the bowling ally. Yes, we needed socks and that was a reason we called Brittany, but we have fun with  her too! Paytyn LOVED bowling. I have never seen her so happy to play a game with us like this before. She wanted to bowl and cheer us on. She clapped after we bowled, yelled and laughed. So I think it will have to be something we all do together again, soon....After bowling we headed to the Spanish Fork Carnival. We got tickets and put Paytyn on a few rides. I rode the one's that she was to small to do by herself. She liked a few of the rides more then some. But seem to have fun. We got our favorite carnival drink, Texas Twister. So good. Then walked around rode a few more rides with pay, and then headed to the fireworks. We got to the fireworks got a good parking spot(easy to get in and easy to get out), found a good spot to watch from, and waited, and waited and then waited some more......The fireworks didn't start until about 10:45! Then they only lasted about 15 minutes. A few of the fireworks were really low. But It was a great day! Jim is wore out, Paytyn had fun, and now I'm blogging.....Here are our pictures finally.....

She just pushed the ball off the ramp. She loved it! This is where she would go when she wasn't bowling. Playing California crusin' It was a racing game, Jim put in quarter's to the game, we held the gas pedal and Paytyn steered.Jim.......is all I have to say......She really wasn't sure what to do.....but knew she should hold on.Riding a chicken, I thought a pony would be cute, but Daddy and Mebritt thought the chicken would be funner.....Yes, I said funner, get over it.Yes Paytyn was in there with me....It was hot and spinning, I will not do that ride ever again.....She didn't like this ride. She was screaming and kicking when I put her in the boat. But was fine as so as someone else got in the boat with her.Now she got that you wave when you see someone! She liked waving, and thought it was fun, this was the last ride of the night. Then we went to the fireworks. I will have pictures of the fireworks coming soon....I hope you all enjoyed!

Boat Weekend!

Okay so this past weekend, we went camping. It was for Jim's company boat day. We got in late Thursday night .  We set up camp and headed to bed. I got sick in the morning and felt bad that I was ignoring everyone. But Jim was great and help take care of Paytyn til I started feeling better. I really do have a wonderful husband.Daddy and Paytyn talking and playing by the water. one of the few moments Pay spent with Jim.She was a HUGE mama's girls this weekend. We found out even when she is mad at me for something, she will still come to me before she will go to Jim.Okay so we have a 2 man tent.....it didn't fit Paytyn. So Jim went and got us this tent. It's big enough to fit 2 queen size air mattress. And if you ever stayed at out house you would have slept on our air mattress. Yes we brought out areo bed camping.Here is Paytyn on the boat. She didn't like getting on the boat to much. But she warmed if she was with me. When we were going at low speeds on the boat, the boat would rock her to sleep. It was cute to watch.Here is Jim and some guys he works with. Well when Tod (Jim's boss) was driving the boat this harmless float would flip you around. When Toby( Tod's dad) drove the boat it was a nice peaceful ride on the water. Yes I did go on it and it was fun. Jim thought it would be fun to jump off of this. Then when the boat stopped I jumped off and we went swimming with Paytyn and 2 of Tod's kids. The water was really nice and it was fun to swim.This is Jim and I after our dinner on the boat. She was so cute on the boat. Yes She does keep her sunglasses on.Friday night it was very windy! And this little sun shade got tossed in the water. So Jim and Tod swam out to get it. This is them carrying it out of the water. Just cause Paytyn is a little wind blown. Here is Abigale and Paytyn.Abigale is "watching" Paytyn. She wanted to babysit Paytyn the whole time at the lake. And she was a pretty good little helper. She just didn't always want to play what Paytyn was playing.Here is Paytyn driving in the car. She thinks she is older then she is. Okay so Brittany made me a Birthday cake. It was so yummy! Here it is. Megan (Brittany's way cute room mate), decorated it. I love stars. So for a month or two I've wanted a hair cut, a cute one. And I wanted to dye my hair more to its natural color. So with cousin Megan in town, Brittany and I got hair cuts. Here is my new Birthday do. Thanks Megan it looks so good!This is Pay blowing bubbles. She really likes bubbles. She handed me her bubbles today after lunch, so we went outside to blow bubbles. Of course I could only blow bubbles for so long before Paytyn wanted to do it by herself. Then Kahlen joined us and Kayhen it was a party!Here is Kahlen and Paytyn blowing bubbles. Paytyn follows K. Its fun to watch Paytyn play with other kids. K is helping Pay with her bubbles. I really liked having K here to play with Paytyn, I kow Paytyn gets board playing with me all the time.Paytyn not really getting how to blow bubbles. She still had fun doing it. She doesnt listen to me when I try to tell her or show her how to blow the bubbles. So this past weekend the California cousin came to spend the night with us. Here is K and lil C. Yes that is a babydoll stroller. It was funny to watch this. We had a great day with the cousin. Hopefully they will be back in the next day or so......

Birthday Celebrations....

Okay so this is how my day started....Jim telling me "Happy Birthday" then cuddling for the next hr. No I didn't open my eye's or say anything....I have to tired to move. After I slept in til 745, I thought okay I need to get up and start getting ready for the day. Paytyn woke up and Jim took care of her. I got Pay off to daycare and I headed to work. At work I got taken out to lunch. At Zupas! I love Zupas....so good! I had to work late and Jim had Army so we didn't make any plans to do anything. After work I headed to Brittany's to pick up Paytyn. Who was fast asleep on the couch. Then I got a call from Jim, telling me I should be home getting ready to go out to dinner. He arranged it with Brittany to watch Pay a little while longer. Then I came home changed and Jim took me to a wonderful dinner at Texas Road House......Ashton Joined us for my Birthday dinner. This is a picture from my Birthday dinner with my WONDERFUL husband. I'm a little surprised he didn't tell the waiter it was my birthday. After my dinner, Jim sent me to pick up pay while he was "cleaning" the guest room. After I got back from picking up pay. And Brittany trying her hardest to stall me. I came home to be lock out. I knocked on the door and head Jim run down the stairs, unlock the door and run back. When I open the door there was my present. A vacuum! Yes I did ask for a vacuum. Jim surprised me twice in one day. This is hard for him to do since I love surprises but when I know something is going to happen I try to find out what the surprise is. My husband is so awesome.  I had a wonderful Birthday! This is my new vacuum. Isn't it pretty! Thank you so Jim! You really are the world's greatest husband.

So on May 24th( I think), it snowed! Can you believe it!! When I got Paytyn out in all our snow gear it was so warm! We really didn't even need jackets.

One Day I was thinking cake would be nice for dessert. So Paytyn help me mix and frost it. She loved doing it. She loves helping. She is growing into a great little girl. Today I was looking at her and though wow she is no longer a baby. She has a strong personality. She wants what she wants.

When Paytyn was sick. She slept in my bed A LOT and those that really know her know she does not like sleeping in my bed. She likes her space and her bed. Well one Saturday she went upstairs climbed into my bed, got under the coves and thought it was nap time. So when it was way to quiet I went and checked on her, She was just laying in my bed. So I went and got her a bottle. I didn't think she would fall asleep in the bed. Usually she she plays. So when I went to check on her again. She was sleeping in the bed.

Summer '10

Okay so a few weeks ago we went to a wedding. It was such a fun pretty wedding. The Bride rode in on a horse drawn carriage. She loved it! This is the Bride and groom leaving the wedding. Paytyn went with her friend Toby, to wave good-bye. Toby was a great little babysitter. He played with Paytyn the whole time and she loved it!

Okay so as some of you know Paytyn was sick last week. This is Saturday, we ended up at the doctor's and found out she had a double ear infection and upper respiratory infection. Well our home teacher stopped by with some cupcakes. And Paytyn was on our couch and seemed very sick....well she started to inch her way over to the table. She moved down the couch slowly, then to the  pop up chair, then she made it to the table, where she started to eat a cupcake! here she is after I moved the other 2 cupcakes so she didn't eat them all.

Summer 2010

Here is Pay at Thanksgiving point riding a pony. She was pretty much smiling the whole time, but when I would point the camera she would get shy. We saw lots of farm animals that day. Paytyn does know her animals sounds. But when she saw the animals for real she thought they all said "moo", so she would yell at them all "moooo". She was very excited to see the farm animals.

Pay standing next to a Sheep. I tried to get her to pet it. If I helped her she would do it, but she wouldnt do it by herself.

This is after Paytyn's First day of Nusery! She was a champ....with help from dad. Jim and I have just been released from nursey and they changed all the classes around, so Pay didnt know anyone, and was a little grumpy.

Paytyn is a fish when it comes to the pool. She can kick herself around. I am working with her to kick her legs and how to float. This picture was taken at her Aunt Mebritt's pool. She was very happy at the pool. When I took her to our pool, she was just learning how to jump in and climb in and out of the pool. She is a fast learner. I am working on counting to 10 and she know's how to count 1-2-3. And Jim and I are singing abc's with her. And somes times sings along.
