Our Family Photo's!

Here is me and Paytyn. She slept through the whole photo shoot. Jim was trying to wake her up. She is such a cute baby!

I guess Jim just can't help himself. Here we are trying to take cute photo's and hes's

trying to be funny!

This is a good photo of us. Erin really does a good job!

Our little princess! She was sleeping and we would pose her any way we wanted. She is so beautiful. I cant believe Jim and I made her. That just a month ago she was inside of me, kicking and giving me heart burn!

Whats new with us. Paytyn's birth.

Well we have been very lucky over the past month. We had a beautiful baby girl on October 28th.She was 7lbs and 11oz, 19 and half inches. She has dark hair. I also think her eyes are going to be brown just like her mom. Her hair is getting lighter by the day....well when its in the light you can see it. Well here is her birth story. She was due on October 23rd. Of course being stubborn she had to come late! Out of all of the her cousins she is the only one that didn't come early! My parents came out on the 23rd, and I was having contraction off and on for weeks! Well on saturday the 25th I had a few stronger contraction, before I went to bed. OF course they went away. Then on sunday the 26th, When we were in church I noticed my contractions were getting stonger but they would come and go. I really knew they were different when they would wake me up from my sunday afternoon nap. Later that night we went to Brigham's for his birthday dinner. And of course B had to have a small flood in his basement...that Jim spent the almost the WHOLE night working on....Til my contractions were about 3-5 mins apart and I couldn't just walk them off. SO my sister's told him it was time to go, to the hospital. Of course Brigham said he was working and couldn't go. SO Erin and Kriston put there kids to bed, while Jim, my mom,my dad and I all headed to the hospital. We got to the hospital and got all checked it. But after an hour of NOTHING changing I got sent home. With a shot of drugs so I could sleep. Erin and Kriston spent the night on the couch. While I was upstairs sleeping in bed. I did wake up at about 2 shaking cause the pain and had about and hour of strong contractions. Jim held my hand as I sat on the yoga ball. I fell back asleep til about 5 am, then Erin and I went on walk to see if that would start anything....of course it didn't. SO I went back to bed and slept til about 10. Having a contraction maybe every hour. Well I got up and got ready for the day. My mom made me something to eat. I was sad cause my contractions stopped. Jim took the day off of work, so my mom, Jim and I, went out shopping. Jim got his hair cut while I got a smoothie with my mom. My dad was with the grandkids, just incase Erin and Kriston had to leave again. Around 1230, I had a few contrations. After we picked Jim up from his hair cut, we went to Jim's work to get something. Then we headed to provo mall to walk around and see if anything would happen. Well after walking around the mall 3 times! My contractions got stronger to where I didnt want to talk or move during them. So Jim, my mom and I headed to the hospital. Well when I got there it was about 2:30pm. I was 2 1/2 cm. And of course my contractions didnt hurt as much and slowed down! Well after an hour I was at a 3, the Doctor told the nurses to have me wait another hour and see what happens. Well my contractions got stronger and HURT, so I was counting down the mins, til the nurse came back in to tell me what was going on. When she came back I was 4cm and STAYING in the hospital. I got the drugs as fast as I could! After that I felt great! I was moving along faster then the doctor and nurses thought I would. At about 11:20pm I started pushing. I didn't know if it was doing anything, so I had the drugs shut off. After they wore off a little bit I could FEEL a lot more! All my sister's where there, with my too. I was yelling cause it hurt so bad, my mom and nurse (Elizabeth) told me I could cry and it was okay. I didn't cry But I did YELL, Paytyn's nurse came in and told me to stop yelling and push.....well I yell back that I was pushing. That got the attention of the doctor. I wanted Paytyn out it hurt so much! So at 12:04 am Paytyn came out! Of course we had a good baby that didn't think she needed to cry when she came out. Because she didn't cry she wasn't clearing out her lungs. So She did have to go spend some time in the NICU. Jim spent the WHOLE time with her. Erin stayed with me while I waited to go see her. I did get to hold her for a few mins before they took her to the NICU. At about 1:30am I got to go see her. She was hooked up to a CPAP. To help clear her lungs. I went to my new room and waited for Jim and Paytyn. Jim came first, and fell right asleep. Paytyn went and got cleaned up. She made her way to our room where she fell asleep and we all slept for a few hours.
