Cali trip!

I love how none of these Photo's are in order! This picture is of when we went to the to the living desert its a zoo in palm desert. We went into the butterfly house and came out to the gift shop and a butterfly escaped! We got locked in the store til the butterfly was but back in his house. While we were at the zoo Jim and Micheal where at a tennis match, Jim won a very nice watch at the game. He also got a nice sunburn to go with it. He had a fun boys day with Micheal.

So what is new with Jim other then when he goes on vacation he is still put to work. With in 4 hours of us getting to California Jim was already helping someone move. The next morning he helped fix a lawn mower, chopped up the couch and helped to move again on Saturday morning. He was very busy on his vacation.

Here is Paytyn and I at the zoo. We had so much fun! Paytyn was such a good baby at the zoo she loved looking at everything! Her hat got in the way sometimes. It was a little big for her little head but it kept the sun off and that's what matters.

How can you go to Cali and not have sun glasses! She loved them. She also looks really cute. She enjoyed the sun and warm weather.

Here Jim is trying to de-stress and one way to do that is to be silly! He got us all beaver hats in Beaver UT on our way to California. Don't worry Megan and Mike we left you guys a hat for Kahlen!

Beach Bums!

On Saturday we spent the afternoon at the beach. IT was the coldest day, that we were in Cali. But thats okay we bundled up and made a fire. We saw Brigham and Michelle, it was fun to see them and hear about what is going on with them. It made Jim and I want to move to California. The weather was great the whole time we were there. We didnt want to leave, when it came time to leave Cali we took our time leaving and didnt get home til 230AM. Paytyn was a little trooper in the car. She had fun playing in the car on the way home. We stopped a few more times then we did it coming out but we got home.

Here is Paytyn being a beach bum. She got really tired once we got to the beach and had a good long nap! There was so much for her to look at, touch and try to eat! After she woke up she was ready to play! She had fun trying to eat my s'more.

Here we are on the pier. We had Paytyn all bundled up. It got colder as the night went on. It was great end to a great day! We are counting down the days til we go next month! Paytyn had fun playing with her cousins. She is starting to remember people and that is making her more fun!

Baseball games, 1lb challenges, and sick babies!

So our little baby girl is sick!! She has RSV I took this picture today(Monday). She loves getting kisses it always get a smile from her. She is still coughing and I needed to take her to the hospital to get her nose suctioned out. She is pretty happy being such a sick little girl. She has her grumpy moments when its hard to eat or she cant sleep.

I hate how these pictures never come out the way I want them too. But here Jim is with his name on the 1lb challenge winners board! To get your name on the board you need to eat a 1lb burger, fry's, and a milk shake. So Jim ate everything! Then he found out you needed to eat chili cheese fry's. So Of course being the good sport that Jim can be, he said bring on the Chili he'll eat it. Well the manager didn't think that was good enough so he had to eat the chili cheese fry's. Well he couldn't eat them and got sick. But he was still able to put his name on the winners board and 2 more time he gets a tee shirt and 10% off when he wears it in to the restaurant. Yay heart attacks! Here we are at Paytyn's first BYU game!! Well baseball game. They played Utah and BYU won!! It was so much. The weather was really nice. It seemed like Pay really liked watching the game. We had seats right behind home plate....It was great to raz the other team.

I asked Jim to play with Paytyn while I cleaned the kitchen.....and this is what I found. They were both passes out! Paytyn the past few days has been falling asleep around 7 then waking up at 8 wanting to play. So I am trying to get her to stay up even if she is grumpy. She is getting so big! She is so happy when Jim comes home at night she is all smiles!

Here is Pay and Jim, they were playing while I cleaned. I think Paytyn likes Jim so much because he lets her watch tv. And of course that's what they are doing in this picture. Jim is getting closer to graduating!! He has spring break this week we are going to California!! Well if Paytyn is feeling better then I will take her. But it will be fun to go to the beach. We are hoping to see my brother and his wife as well when we are there.

Who Pay looks like.

Okay so I know a lot of people say Paytyn looks like Jim (from both families), But I would like everyone to remember that I am her mother and yes She does look like me....I have proof. Here is Sydney. I do think that Paytyn looks a lot like her. They have the same eyes. They have similar personality's. Both very funny and cute. Paytyn looks being in the middle of everything just like Syd.

Now here I am at about the same age as Paytyn is right now. As anyone that knows her she drools a lot and always has her mouth open.....As you can see below. So yes Pay does look like Jim he is her dad...we hope..jk. But she does have my eyes and some of my features.

Here is our little prinesses....who seems to always be sick. She is getting over a cold right now. She is sleeping a lot! Which is good, she is starting to stand on her legs .....not yet rolling over but she is half way there. She loves playing and smiling at everyone when she's not tired.

Pay's new Toys

Paytyn got a high chair this past week. Here she is playing it in. She loves to try and feed herself. She is always trying to help. Her favorite food is sweet potato's. She gets really happy and talks a lot at dinner time.When we were watching Jim's boss's kids, I came to check on Pay during her nap and I found her sleeping like this. She sleeps like this a lot but I had a camera and thought I needed a picture!

What we have been up to.

So for Valentines day I thought I would get pictures of Paytyn and I taken for Jim. Jim Just got a new office at work, so he needed pictures us. Here is one of the photo's that was taken. Paytyn is growing so fast!!

Paytyn just looked so cute before church one sunday. So I snapped a few photo's of her. Here is is looking cute and smiling! She was so happy before we went to church. Then I had to leave church early because she was not happy and wouldn't sleep. Jim had drill that weekend so he wasnt even able to help me....I finally got a seat at church and I only got to sit in it for about 5 mins!!

Okay so I know ive already seen Twlight but Ive been reading the book again(when I have free time so its taking a lot longer to read). So when It came to the dollar movie I had to take Paytyn to see it. She loved it....She slept through it until the very last 5mins. Then she cried and I had to walk out, but good thing ive already seen it. So here we are waiting for the movie to start. Pay was my date that day.

Here is another picture that we took for Jim's Valentines day gift. Pay was so tired! She was crying and it was hard for us to get her to smile and look happy.

This is when Jim,Paytyn, and I went to a out door sports store. Jim was looking for a skiing helmet and we found a small one for Paytyn. She looked so cuet so we had to take a picture. She hates when we dress her up like this. But how can you not?

Day to Day.

So these past few weeks Paytyn has done A LOT!! She has our grown her bassinet. Its to small for her likes! She now she now sleeps in her crib in her own room. Where I find her all over in she loves to move during the night. She even takes her naps in the crib, so know I dont have to hold her and I can do other things. Like clean, read, and eat! She is also starting to try and roll over. She rolls to her side and then just rolls back to her tummy so any day now. She even eats baby ceral at night. Which to her is very funny. She love to smile. If she is on a good mood she usually wakes up and I can hear her talking. But when she is in a bad mood, like a rough night or she doesnt feel good....she screams til I come get her. She loves watching TV so now the tv is never on when she is awake.....well when im home. When daddy is home he watches tv with her. and she loves it. She is on a really good routine and its working great so far. She has a bed time and for the most part she does pretty well. This picture is of her girl cousins. I babysat them and we took pictures. They love to help but sometimes they over whelm Paytyn and you can see it in her eyes. She does like to talk to them and smile at them when she is happy.

Yes that right thats Jim he thought he was being funny. Thats how he thought he would di this homework on superbowl Sunday. I can't beleive that Jim only has 2 more semester to go and then he's done with school!! Well for now. It will be nice to see him more. And he wont be so stressed about school. He loves his job so We are stuck in UT for a little while......but not forever...

We went to REI( on outdoor store) and we found a small skiing helmet. It just look so cute on her! But she will snowboard, not ski like her daddy wants. She want to know why we keep putting things on her.....Silly parents.

Like I said Paytyn is starting to try and roll, and Put her mouth on everything....she is trying to eat the camera. But she is so cute how can you not give her what she wants....I promise I dont spoil her....that much.

This is All of her Sikora cousins. This is when we were in NY on the lst day that all the grand-kids would be together and we thought they need to take there picture today.Rachal,Paytyn,Jangkun(holding Pay),Sydney,Corban,And Johnnie. They were fun to watch play. They all seem to have fun. Well thats the update with us.
